Description

Uribate-40 Tablets are used for:

• Treatment of chronic gout (gouty arthritis)
• Reducing elevated uric acid levels in the blood
• Prevention of recurrent gout attacks
• Prevention of uric acid crystal deposition in joints
• Management of hyperuricemia under medical supervision

How It Works

Uribate-40 contains Febuxostat 40 mg, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor.

It works by:

• Blocking the enzyme xanthine oxidase, which produces uric acid in the body.
• Lowering blood uric acid levels to help prevent the formation of uric acid crystals.
• Reducing the frequency of gout attacks and preventing long-term joint damage associated with gout.

This medicine provides effective long-term control of hyperuricemia and gout when taken regularly as prescribed.

Dosage

• As prescribed by the doctor or healthcare professional.
• Usually taken once daily, with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Continue the treatment as advised, even if symptoms improve.
